Fulham have reportedly made a new bid for Scott McTominay, the Manchester United midfielder. According to sources, Fulham has offered an amount of £20 million ($25.5m) for McTominay, who is also being pursued by Everton, Galatasaray, and Fenerbahce. It is known that Galatasaray were quoted a fee exceeding £30m ($38.3m) earlier in the summer for the Scottish international.
Despite offers from various clubs, Scott McTominay is said to be undecided about his future. A source close to the situation has revealed that McTominay has been assured of a place in Erik ten Hag’s squad for the upcoming season at Manchester United. However, the 27-year-old midfielder is facing a tough decision regarding whether to seek more regular playing time elsewhere. Despite scoring 10 goals last season, McTominay was mostly utilized as a substitute under Ten Hag.
Manchester United is looking to raise funds through player departures in order to finance further transfer activities this summer. The recent signings of Leny Yoro and Joshua Zirkzee from Lille and Bologna respectively have been noted, but the club is still in pursuit of another center-back, full-back, and central midfielder. It has been reported that Aaron Wan-Bissaka is edging closer to a move to West Ham, although the two clubs have not yet reached an agreement on the transfer fee. United is demanding a fee between £15m ($19.1m) and £20m ($25.5m) for Wan-Bissaka, who seems open to a move to London Stadium.
Victor Lindelöf’s future at Manchester United remains uncertain following an injury to Leny Yoro. The 18-year-old French defender is set to be sidelined for three months due to a broken foot sustained shortly after his transfer from Lille for £52m ($66.4m). There is reported interest from Fenerbahce, where former United manager Jose Mourinho is currently in charge, in acquiring Lindelöf.
Overall, the future looks uncertain for both Scott McTominay and Victor Lindelöf, as Manchester United navigates through a busy summer transfer window with multiple ins and outs happening simultaneously.
