This move comes after the club was referred to an independent commission due to alleged breaches in spending rules. The Premier League’s decision to make this referral on Thursday has put Leicester at risk of facing a points deduction.
The Premier League highlighted that Leicester had failed to submit their audited financial accounts, prompting the referral.
