One name that has emerged in discussions is Carlos Baleba, a promising young talent currently plying his trade with Brighton & Hove Albion. The interest from both clubs signals not only their intent to secure immediate reinforcements but also a focus on securing young, long-term assets in a competitive league landscape.

Carlos Baleba, a 20-year-old midfielder from Cameroon, joined Brighton from Lille last year for a sum of £23 million. His debut season saw him making an impressive 37 appearances, showcasing his burgeoning talent on the pitch. The 26-year-old striker has made headlines with an impressive 20 goals in just 16 appearances this season, stirring interest from several top clubs, including AC Milan and Juventus. His former coach, Ruben Amorim’s recent appointment at Manchester United, has also opened the doors for potential recruitment, although Gyökeres’s hefty €100 million release clause could be a significant hurdle for Italian clubs.

Meanwhile, Manchester United are undergoing a period of transition following the appointment of Amorim. Among the names linked with a move to Old Trafford is Ousmane Diomande from Sporting Lisbon, alongside Sunderland’s promising midfielder, Chris Rigg.
