Soccer Transfer Rumors: The Latest Transfer Talk

There are ongoing discussions between Chelsea and Atlético Madrid regarding a permanent deal for João Félix. The Portuguese international, who spent half a season on loan at Stamford Bridge in 2023, is reportedly open to returning to Chelsea. Super-agent Jorge Mendes is actively involved in negotiations between the two clubs, although the deal is still considered to be at a “difficult” stage. Despite interest from Aston Villa, Félix appears to have a preference for rejoining his former side, Chelsea.

Chelsea is also in the race to sign Napoli striker Victor Osimhen, according to reports. The Blues have maintained their interest in the Nigerian international, despite some earlier conflicting reports. However, Osimhen’s insistence on leaving Napoli on a permanent deal without a salary reduction could pose a challenge to any potential agreement. Napoli, on the other hand, are looking to replace Osimhen with Romelu Lukaku, who has returned to Chelsea after a loan spell with AS Roma.

Amid ongoing speculation about his future at Manchester United, Jadon Sancho reportedly wants to join Paris Saint-Germain this summer. The 24-year-old has been linked with a move away from Old Trafford, with United expected to demand a fee above €60 million for his services. While talks between PSG and United over Manuel Ugarte could impact a potential deal for Sancho, no agreement is currently in place, making the situation complex.

PSV Eindhoven has decided to drop out of the race to sign Liverpool’s Sepp van den Berg due to the Reds’ high valuation of the player. Despite reported interest from various European clubs, PSV’s pursuit of the Dutch centre-back has come to a halt. The Eredivisie side is now considering alternative defensive targets, with FC Nordsjælland’s Adamo Nagalo on their radar as a potential option.

Juventus is reportedly in negotiations with FC Porto for winger Francisco Conceição. The Serie A club is looking to bolster their attacking options this summer, with Nicolás González from Fiorentina also on their transfer wishlist. Personal terms have already been agreed with Conceição, and all that remains is to settle on a fee with Porto. Juventus is keen on securing the 21-year-old winger on a permanent deal, as Porto has ruled out the possibility of a loan move.

Nottingham Forest is in advanced negotiations with Argentine club Talleres over the potential transfer of Ramón Sosa. The Paraguay international, who primarily plays as a winger, is close to securing a move to the English club. Talleres is expecting around £12m for Sosa, who has represented Paraguay on 14 occasions since 2022. His standout performance at the Copa América tournament this summer, where he scored against Costa Rica, has garnered interest from clubs across Europe.
